Hydrocell HC-MH200 portable low pressure metal hydride hydrogen stores
The HC-MH200 is a low pressure metal hydride hydrogen storage. It is equipped with an internal heat exchanger and a safety valve. The storage is pressure tested with hydrogen at 30 bars, g. The storage is equipped with a double shut-off valve for reliable charging and discharging.
- Capacity 200 litres hydrogen = 36 Ah (12VDC) in fuel cell use
- Safe, because the pressure of the storage is only 4 bar (abs.) Higher pressure levels are available on request
- Safe, because hydrogen is absorbed in the metal hydride alloy
When metal hydride storage is combined with a fuel cell, energy densities are much better than with traditional battery technologies.
